Tom Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl champion, three-time MVP, and 15-time Pro Bowler. Now, a possible victim of Father Time.
Brady is accustomed to winning. In fact, there's only been one season where a Brady-led team totaled more than six losses in a season, and that was still a positive record at 9-7. 12 weeks through the 2022 season, things are shaping up much differently than the legendary quarterback is accustomed to.
After his latest contest against the Cleveland Browns, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have fallen to 5-6 on the season, giving the 45-year-old quarterback a career-low win percentage of 45.45%
By the numbers, the Buccaneers quarterback has thrown 14 touchdowns with only two interceptions. The 45-year-old also has 2,805 yards on a league-high 427 attempts, with a 91.9 quarterback rating which ranks 16th among all quarterbacks.

TB12 is also posting career lows in multiple analytical categories, including touchdown percentage and yards per completion. The good news is Tom isn't creating many turnovers, but he also isn't tossing the ball downfield either.
Brady has totaled the 13th-most 20+ attempts and 22nd-most 30+ yarders, all while having more overall attempts than any quarterback in the lead. These things are a reason why the future Hall of Fame quarterback is posting the lowest intended air yards per play of his lengthy career (6.3).
So, is Tom Brady the latest victim of Father Time?
The wins point to yes, and so do many analytical fields. Still, there is some notable good, such as his sixth-highest on-target pass percentage (79.4%), and lack of turnover-worthy percentage of plays which ties for third-lowest among starting QBs (2.1%).
If the Buccaneers lose just two of their remaining six contests, Brady will officially total more losses in a single season than he ever had before.
Tom Brady failed to close out his latest contest vs. Browns despite multiple chances
Right before the clock hit zeros in overtime to enforce a tie, Nick Chubb ran into the end zone for a walk-off touchdown.
This was after Tom Brady and the Buccaneers got the ball, twice.
The Buccaneers won the coin toss and received the ball to start the overtime period. Tampa Bay made it to Cleveland's 47, but a sack on third down pushed the team back into their own territory, and the punting unit came onto the field.
Luckily, the Buccaneers' defense forced a quick three-and-out to get the ball right back.
Now needing only a field goal to secure a victory, the race to grab the win was on. Brady moved the chain once, and it was time to punt yet again. This time, Cleveland was in no mood to play a game of back-and-forth punting. The Browns drove down the field and capped off their long drive with a Chubb touchdown.
Game, set and match, Cleveland.
