Travis Kelce is the star of many fantasy teams across the league and is the effective No. 1 receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs. If Kelce isn't ready to play, the Chiefs' offense could be dealt a crippling blow.
Chiefs' fans know this, which is why his health is of utmost concern. Is the tight end healthy and will he suit up for Week 9?
Not only is Travis Kelce in perfect health and ready to go in Sunday Night Football, almost the entire team has been blessed by the football gods. The team has no key pieces on the injury report and essentially rounds up to being 100 percent healthy. Patrick Mahomes has little to worry about this week.

Travis Kelce's fantasy football update and predictions
Over the course of seven games, the tight end has maintained the same dominant stranglehold on the top of the leaderboard for tight ends. In seven games, he has earned 47 catches for 553 yards and seven touchdowns. Compared to last season, he has taken big steps towards smashing that production.
In 2021, he caught 92 passes for 1,125 yards and nine touchdowns. At his current pace, the tight end is on track to earn more than 1,300 yards and around 15 touchdowns. Put simply, whether it is yards or touchdowns, Travis Kelce is a weekly starter who will get fantasy owners their points.
Even in this year's matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, where he earned just 25 yards, he managed to make up the difference. While he wasn't able to move the ball between the 20s, he was able to cash in on the goal line four times. Despite earning just 25 yards, he earned a season-high total of 30 points in most PPR leagues.
Heading into this weekend's matchup against the Titans, Kelce is in line for another big night with Patrick Mahomes at the helm.
Mahomes may be surrounded by new faces this year after the loss of Tyreek Hill and the additions of Juju Smith-Schuster, Kadarius Toney, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, but he still has Ol' Reliable.
If the game gets tight, expect the tight end's targets to increase, especially in red zone situations. While some were worried coming into the year about him becoming a factor at 33 years old, his production this year has been at the same level that it always has been. The Titans' 15th-ranked defense should pose no problems for the tight end.
