At the time of writing, Trey McBride is listed as questionable to play against the 49ers in Week 5. However, reports suggest that the Cardinals' tight end will play on Sunday.

McBride was dealing with a concussion after a helmet-to-helmet collision with Detroit Lions cornerback Brian Branch in the fourth quarter of Week 3. The Arizona tight end entered the concussion protocol and was subsequently ruled out for the Cardinals' Week 4 game against the Washington Commanders.

However, ahead of Week 5, McBride was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and then upgraded to a full participant on Thursday and Friday.

On Saturday, some reports suggested McBride suffered an injury to his ribs. Nonetheless, the player is expected to suit up for the Cardinals on Sunday when they take on the 49ers.

In three appearances this season, McBride has recorded 122 yards on 14 receptions. He is yet to score a touchdown and the third-year tight end will hope to mark his potential return with a bang on Sunday.
