J'Kaylin Dobbins is an American football running back for the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL. The Baltimore Ravens drafted Dobbins with the 55th overall pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The Ravens had already dealt tight end, Hayden Hurst, to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for the pick used on Dobbins. Dobbins concluded his debut NFL campaign with two fumbles and nine running touchdowns. He sustained an ACL injury during the 2021 NFL season, which forced him to spend the full season on injured reserve. Dobbins scored a touchdown in the first week of the 2023 NFL season, prior to enduring a season-ending knee injury.
Dobbins played collegiate football at Ohio State University from 2017 to 2019. With 1,403 yards in his debut season, Dobbins set the record for freshman rushing record.
