Ja’Maar Anthony Chase is an American football wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2024 NFL season. The Bengals selected Chase as the fifth overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Chase recorded 370 receptions for 5,130 yards and 44 touchdowns, as of Week 15 of the 2024 NFL season. Notably, in his first season, he won the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team. Chase has been to the Pro Bowl every year since entering the NFL.
Chase stayed in his home state for college when he enrolled at Louisiana State University, where he played three years for the Tigers. Chase received the Fred Biletnikoff Award and was also received First-team All-SEC and Unanimous All-American honors in 2019, when he helped LSU become a national champion.
