The Detroit Lions selected Campbell with the 18th pick in the 2023 NFL draft. In his rookie NFL season, Campbell made an immediate impact. He recorded his first career sack in Week 3 during a 20-6 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. His performance throughout the season earned him a spot on the Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA) All-Rookie Team.
