Jack Coan is one of the younger players to partake in the 2023 XFL season. However, the San Antonio Brahmas quarterback couldn't lead his team to victory over the St. Louis Battlehawks in Week 1.
Coan is one of three quarterbacks in the league, along with Kaleb Eleby and Drew Plitt, who were a part of the 2022 NFL Draft pool but went undrafted. He was eventually assigned to San Antonio during Day 2 of the XFL Draft.
According to reports from Spotrac, Coan will earn $5,000 per week for playing in the XFL this season. Along with bonuses and other incentives, he is on course to earn an estimated $60,000 over the course of the regular season.

He threw for 207 yards on 25 passes with a touchdown and an interception in his XFL debut. However, Coan's Brahmas fell to the BattleHawks 18-15 on Sunday.
College career and stats of Jack Coan
Jack Coan was tipped as one of the top prospects at the collegiate level. He went to both Wisconsin and Notre Dame, grabbing the limelight at both colleges.
The quarterback spent four seasons with the Wisconsin Badgers but saw limited action in his first two seasons, as he played in 11 games and made four starts.
He became Wisconsin's full-time starter in 2019. That season, he completed 69.6 percent of his passes for 2,727 yards, 18 touchdowns and five interceptions, leading the Badgers to a 10-4 record.
However, Wisconsin lost to Ohio State 34-21 in the Big Ten title game.
Coan joined Notre Dame in his final college year in 2021 and racked up an impressive 3,150 yards, 25 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He led the Fighting Irish to an 11-2 record.
However, in the Fiesta Bowl, Notre Dame suffered a narrow 37-35 defeat against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Coan signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent after the 2022 NFL Draft. However, he didn't make it to the practice squad or the team's final 53-man roster.
