Jacob Copeland will be hoping to hear his name called out in the 2023 NFL draft. The Maryland Terrapins wideout played in his first season with the team last year after spending three campaigns with the Florida Gators.

However, Copeland has a lot of competition in this year's draft class. Interestingly, most analysts do not believe that he will be selected by any NFL team this year.

This is primarily because Copeland hasn't really done anything spectacular during his four years of collegiate football. Although he is thick and always up for a physical battle, his stats also don't stack up well in comparison to the other receivers in the draft.

Hence, we expect Copeland to get selected in the seventh round of the 2023 draft. It's unlikely that he will go earlier than Quentin Johnston, Jordan Addison, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Zay Flowers.

Most teams in the NFL aren't short of wideouts, stacking the odds even further against Copeland.

However, the receiver did impress at the NFL Combine with his 40-yard dash. He completed the drill in 4.42 seconds.
