Jacobby Brisett is an American professional football quarterback who is playing with the New England Patriots of the National Football League as of 2024. Born on December 11, 1992, he was selected by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft. In 2016 After joining the New England Patriots Brissett signed a deal with them for four years. In the 2016 season against the Miami Dolphins, he made his NFL debut where in the following match he completed 6-of-9 passes for ninety-two passing yards. In the 2017 season, the Patriots traded Brissett to the Indianapolis Colts. Since then, he has played with multiple NFL teams including the Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, and Washington Commanders, before rejoining the Patriots in 2024.

Brissett was born in and grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. He attended William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens where became a standout quarterback. Ranked as a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, he was considered one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in his class. Brissett committed to play football at the University of Florida in February 2011, marking the start of his collegiate career.

Jacobby Brisett went to the University of Florida and played college football with the Florida Gators football team. He first stepped foot into the NFL at the age of 24 and has shown no sign of slowing down since then. Before his journey in the NFL began he played college football with the Florida Gators football team at the University of Florida. In his freshman year in 2011 he played 8 games and made his college debut against number-one ranked LSU where in the following game he threw for ninety-four yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. In his sophomore year in 2012, he started the opening game against Bowling Green and was the starter for the rest of the season.

Brissett transferred to North Carolina State University in January 2013 and played as a starting quarterback for the NC State Wolfpack football team. Brissett continued his brilliant performance throughout his college career where in his senior year in 2015 he passed for 2,662 yards and 20 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Coming into the NFL Jacoby Brissett was seen as a rare combination of strength and speed because of his fantastic physical attributes. He weighs around 107 kg and is 6 feet 4 inches tall. The young player thus far in his career has been a gaming-changing factor in every game he has been a part of and there should be no doubt that Jacoby Brissett in upcoming years will become one of the top names in the NFL.
