Jacoby JaJuan Brissett, popularly known as Jacoby Brissett is an American Football quarterback for the New England Patriots. The 6 ft 4 in signal caller was taken in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft by the New England Patriots with their 91st pick. The Florida native attended William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He committed to the University of Florida to play football for his home state team before transferring to NC State after two years due to not getting any playing time. He took the starting QB spot for the Wolfpack in 2014 after being unable to play in 2013 due to NCAA transfer rules. During his two-year tenure at North Carolina, he passed for more than 5,200 yards and scored 58 total touchdowns. Since entering the league in 2016, Brissett has played for five different teams as of 2024. His best years came while he was with the Indianapolis Colts, from 2017 till 2020. He went on to start 30 games for Indy in his 4-year tenure there with them. His best record as a starter came in the 2019 season, when he went 7-8 in 15 games. After departing from Indianapolis, he went on to play for Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns and Washington Commanders in 2021, 2022 and 2023 respectively. He started 16 total games in those 3 years with them. By the end of 2023 season, Brissett had more than 10,600 passing yards under his belt with more than 6,000 of them coming while he was with the Colts.
