
Jah Joyner is an American footballer playing at defensive end for the University of Minnesota from 2020 – 2025. He competed at the 2025 Duke's Mayo Bowl and ran a 4.60-second 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. The rising senior has been named the All-Big Honourable and academic All-Big Ten in 2024. Playing 12 games in 2024, he made 32 tackles, forced two fumbles and broke seven passes, including 4.5 sacks. Joyner did not participate in the 2024 Duke Mayo Bowl.
During the junior season in 2023, Joyner played 13 games, made 18 tackles, and had a team-high 7.5 sacks. With his powerful performance, he made two sacks, three tackles and one fumble against Illinois. Being a redshirt sophomore during the 2022 season, he again participated in 13 games, which included 1.5 sacks and 15 tackles. During 2021, Joyner registered his first tackle and sack in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl against West Virginia. He initially played college football for Boston College University but changed to representing the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
