Jalen Coker's waiver wire fantasy outlook for Week 16

Jalen Coker is making a pretty strong case for being the best receiver on this Carolina Panthers team. Against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Coker hauled in four catches for 110 yards and a touchdown.

With those numbers, he officially holds the record for most receiving yards for an undrafted rookie in Panthers history. Coker, a fan favorite, beat Corey "Philly" Brown's 296 yards to claim top spot in the franchise's history books.

What's interesting about that feat is Coker only just made his return from a quadriceps injury that forced him to miss three games. He had six targets in all against the Cowboys, a figure that was only bettered by lead WR Adam Thielen. Considering Xavier Legette is dealing with a groin injury and has also been diagnosed with a case of butter fingers in recent weeks, Coker should see some more action in the weeks ahead.

The Panthers go up against the Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers next, both favorable matchups. Look at Coker as a strong flex option in deep leagues despite the unpredictability of Bryce Young's play on a week-to-week basis.
