Jalen Ramsey is a Professional American footballer who plays in the NFL for the Miami Dolphins as a cornerback as of 2024. Ramsey's professional career began in 2016 when he was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars as the fifth overall pick in the first round. He attended high school at Ensworth High School for 1 year before transferring to Brentwood Academy. After completing his high school education, he committed to play collegiate football at Florida State University. He was named an All-American, received All-ACC honors and was a finalist for the much coveted Jim Thorpe Award.

Jalen Ramsey signed a rookie deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars for four years worth $23.35 million as per Spotrac. During his tenure at Jacksonville, the seven-time pro bowler intercepted the ball 9 times before getting traded to the Los Angeles Rams. During his time in LA, the 3 times first-team all-pro managed to win Super Bowl LVI. He had a career year with the Rams in 2022, where he not only managed to get 18 pass deflections but also 4 interceptions (both career-high). The former Jaguar has only managed to bring down opposing QBs two times in his entire career and both of those occasions came in the 2022 season. He was traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2023 and signed a new 3-year deal worth $72.3 million in 2024.

In the following season, he played 13 games and recorded one sack, nine passes defended, and one fumble recovery on 52 tackles. After the end of the 2015 campaign, Ramsey announced that he would not be participating in his senior year and instead would prepare himself to enter the NFL draft of 2016.
