James Conner is a professional American footballer who plays in the National Football League as a running back for the Arizona Cardinals. His professional career started in the year 2017 when he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL draft of 2017.

In the 2021 season in a match against the San Francisco 49ers, Conner recorded three touchdowns. Conner continued his brilliant performance for the Arizona Cardinals throughout the season and finished with 752 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns. Due to his brilliant performance, he was named to the Pro Bowl. He was also ranked by his team members at 80th in the list of Top Players of NFL 2022. In 2022 Conner signed a new contract extension deal for three years with the Cardinals.
