Jared Verse played his college football for the Florida State Seminoles and was the Defensive Lineman for the team. He initially started his college football career playing for the Albany Great Danes and spent three seasons with them (2019-2021) before moving on to play for the Seminoles. Verse is projected to get drafted in the very first round of the 2024 draft and is one of the best defenders in his class.

Verse started his college football career playing for the Great Danes in 2019 and he redshirted his true freshman year. After the conclusion of the 2021 season, Verse announced his decision to transfer and play for the Florida State Seminoles.

With the Seminoles, in 2022, Verse went on to have an outstanding year with 48 combined tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 9 sacks, and a single fumble recovery. He put up similar numbers the next season with 41 combined tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 9 sacks, a single fumble recovery, and a forced fumble.

Verse achieved a lot in his college football career and some of them are 2× first-team All-American in 2022 and 2023, 2× first-team All-ACC 2022 and 2023, CAA Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2020, First-team All-CAA in 2021, Second-team All-CAA in 2020. After the 2023 season, Verse declared for the 2024 NFL draft.
