Jaren Hall spent four impressive seasons with the BYU Cougars. The quarterback is now among the top prospects heading into the 2023 NFL draft.
Many analysts believe Hall will get picked in the sixth round of the draft.
The competition among the quarterbacks in this year's draft is intense. With the likes of Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson and Will Levis, it's unlikely that Hall will go above them.
Additionally, Hall is considered slightly undersized for a quarterback at 6-foot, 207 pounds. However, he has the athleticism and mobility to minimize the impact of his stature.

Hall is also very quick and has a compact release which allows him to distribute the ball in a hurry. He does a good job by generating power with his lower half and driving the ball down the field.
The 24-year-old will certainly have a few NFL teams keeping tabs on him in the draft. It is believed that the Cincinnati Bengals view Hall as a potential backup to Joe Burrow.
How did Jaren Hall fare with the BYU Cougars?

The quarterback led the Cougars to a 8-5 record and a second-place finish in the Independents standings. However, he didn't take part in BYU's win at the New Mexico Bowl against the SMU Mustangs.
In five years with the Cougars, Hall racked up 6,174 passing yards and 468 passes with 52 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also managed 800 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on the ground.
