Fantasy football managers have some very good wide receivers to choose from in Week 10 of the 2024 NFL season and Jaylen Waddle and D.J. Moore might be a couple of options they are considering. They are both playing for teams that should be in the hunt for playoffs in their respective conferences but have had an uneven season.
Jaylen Waddle and the Dolphins were supposed to be one of the favorites for the AFC East this year after having made the postseason in 2023. However, that has not panned out exactly the way their fans might have expected after Tua Tagovailoa's concussion robbed them of their starter for multiple weeks. They currently have a 2-6 record but they looked much better once the quarterback has returned. They face a resurgent Rams this week in what will be a tough matchup.
D.J. Moore and the Bears were looking good just a couple of weeks ago but the mood has dramatically shifted in Chicago since. They have scored 24 points in the last two games, losing both. One of them came to a Hail Mary pass from Jayden Daniels and last week their entire offense looked dysfunctional as they notched just nine points against the Cardinals. In Week 10, they face a Patriots team who themselves are struggling and this gives a good chance to stop the rot.
Is Jaylen Waddle a good pick in Week 10?
Jaylen Waddle began the 2024 season like he meant business, garnering 109 yards in five receptions in the Dolphins' opener against the Jaguars. That represents more than a third of his offensive output of 310 yards this year. He has not had a single outing with more than 50 yards since and that is mainly down to him not getting even five catches in any of those games. He also has a single touchdown coming into Week 10.

That highlights the offensive struggles Miami is dealing with and the nadir for Jaylen Waddle came last week. Against the Bills, he had two receptions for negative four yards after he struggled to keep a play alive with no time remaining and only succeeded in going the wrong way and getting tackled. He had a touchdown, though, showing that he can still be an asset if given the opportunity and that hope is what fantasy football owners who choose him will be banking on.
Is D.J. Moore a good pick in Week 10?
D.J. Moore had struck up a great partnership with Justin Fields last year, only for the Bears to go and draft Caleb Williams and nominate him as the starter. The connection between them has struggled to get going, looking good in some moments and woeful in others.
He has 374 yards in 37 receptions this year and three touchdowns this season. Much of that output came in a single game against the Panthers when he had two scores and 105 yards. Last week, he had four receptions for 33 yards and no touchdowns. His number of catches could have gone up to five had he not given up on a play that Caleb Williams was struggling to keep alive during the game. His attitude will be a concern to potential fantasy football managers.
Whom should I start between Jaylen Waddle and D.J. Moore in Week 10?
With both players struggling on their respective offenses, fantasy football owners might be weary of taking any of them. However, both have talent and have shown that in at least one game this season when they have recorded 100 yards. We can use Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer tool to decide whom to start between Jaylen Waddle and D.J. Moore.
D.J. Moore just shades with a couple of more yards and a slightly higher chance of scoring a touchdown than Jaylen Waddle. Ultimately, the Bears receiver has more yards and scores in 2024 and had a better game than his Miami counterpart last week.
