As things stand, Jaylen Waddle is questionable to play against the Cardinals in Week 8. However, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel is optimistic that the wideout will play on Sunday.

This is good news for fantasy managers who want to draft Waddle in Week 8. However, it's still safer to wait until the receiver gets an active status before picking him for this weekend's game at Hard Rock Stadium.

Waddle popped up on the Dolphins injury report this week. However, he was able to partake in limited practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday.

Miami will host another practice on Friday and it will be interesting to see whether the receiver will be upgraded to a full participant.

As per reports, Waddle picked up the quad injury in Miami's Week 7 defeat against the Indianapolis Colts. However, it's unclear when he suffered the setback.

The wideout played 59 of a possible 69 snaps against Indy but wasn’t too productive, making just one catch on two targets for 11 yards.

Waddle has played in all six games for the Dolphins this season. He has racked up 269 yards on 22 receptions but is yet to catch a touchdown. The Dolphins star has tallied 49.6 points so far this season, averaging 8.3 points per game.
