Jaylen Warren suffered a knee injury during Week 3's game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Pittsburgh Steelers running back did not practice the following week and missed Week 4's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
In Warren's absence, the Steelers lost their first game of the season, a 27-24 loss to the Colts. The 25-year-old running back also dealt with a hamstring injury during the preseason.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has confirmed that Warren's new injury is completely unrelated to the injury he suffered against the Chargers.

Jaylen Warren injury: Will Steelers RB play in Week 5?
Jaylen Warren is currently listed as questionable for Week 5's game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Steelers will monitor his status throughout the week and then make a decision regarding his availability.
In three games this season, Warren has rushed for 54 yards on 14 carries, averaging 3.9 yards per carry. He also has five receptions for 28 yards.
The start of the season has not been ideal for Warren, who impressed everyone last year and was a highly coveted player during the fantasy football drafts. Last season, he rushed for 784 yards and four touchdowns on 149 carries, averaging an impressive 5.4 yards per carry.
Cordarrelle Patterson stepped in for Warren in Week 4, and against the Colts, he rushed for 43 yards on six carries and also had two catches for 19 yards. The Steelers offense is averaging 128.5 rushing yards per game this season, and once Warren is fully healthy, that number will likely go even higher.
If Warren does not play in Week 5, Najee Harris and Patterson will continue to be the Steelers' featured backs. Moreover, Justin Fields is also expected to remain as the team's starting quarterback against the Cowboys.
The Steelers are 3-1 to start the season, and although not many people are taking them seriously, a win against the Cowboys will win people over. However, it will be important for Fields to play well as Russell Wilson is nearing full health, and the veteran could get his job back if the team loses two straight games.
