Jaylen Warren has been making quite the impression in his third season in the league. In all but one of the losses he played, he has covered at least 40 yards and scored double-digit points.
The one knock against Warren is that he has yet to hit even 50 rushing yards in a game, which a high-profile backup like him should be able to do consistently. That, as well as a two-week absence, has also meant that he didn;t hit double digits until the back half of the season.
Is Najee Harris a good fantasy pick in Week 18?
Najee Harris, meanwhile, has been nothing if not prolific. He has hit at least a hundred yards twice this season - at the Las Vegas Raiders and against the New York Jets in consecutive weeks.
Yet each has somehow not resulted in his best fantasy haul. Rather, that would be from his 75-yard outing at the Bengals that saw him come just shy of 25.
He now stands only 11 points from hitting 200 fantasy ponts for the year, which is doable, given that he has already hit a thousand yards.
Whom should I start between Jaylen Warren and Najee Harris?
According to the NFL's fantasy football website, the Bengals rank 18th when attempting to stop running backs. That means they are "meh" - not bad enough to be in the bottom quarter but not good enough to be a top half team either, not helped by a dearth of playmakers caused by season-ending injuries to Sheldon Rankins and Logan Wilson.
Nevertheless, Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer believes that Harris is still the right choice to start. He has proven himself the stronger-performing of the duo; and with Germaine Pratt possibly standing as the only one who can consistently stop him, he should be expected to have another strong haul.
