Jeremy McNichols, a running back for the NFL's Washington Commanders, was born on December 26, 1995. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted him as the 162nd pick in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft; however, he was released in September 2017. Including Buccaneers, he has played in ten different teams, but mainly on the practice squad and a few days on the active roster of some. During his tenure with the Tennessee Titans in 2020, he contributed over 50 rushing yards to the Titans' performance against the Houston Texans in Week 6, which resulted in the most offensive yards in the team's history (601). He signed a contract with the Washington Commanders in April 2024. In Week 4, he had eight carries for 68 yards and two touchdowns against the Arizona Cardinals.

After graduating from Lakewood High School in Lakewood, California, McNichols spent his final year at Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. In high school, he played both wide receiver and running back, and because of his versatility, he was known as "McWeapon." Throughout his career, he had 72 receptions for 934 yards and 10 touchdowns and rushed for 877 yards and nine touchdowns. Moving on, he enrolled at Boise State University in 2014 and was named the second-team All-Mountain West in 2015 and 2016.
