At the MetLife Stadium, Monday Night Football will feature two AFC East teams, the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills, as the NFL's Week 6 action comes to a close.

The Jets are fresh off of consecutive dismal offensive performances and defeats, resulting in Robert Saleh's dismissal as coach. How much could that spur the squad to victory in Week 6?

Aaron Rodgers and the Jets will try to earn a victory under interim coach Jeff Ulbrich, while the Bills seek their second AFC East game of the season on Monday night.

New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills injury report

The Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets have several players listed on their injury reports going into their MNF game. Aaron Rodgers, James Cook, Khalil Shakir, Austin Johnson and Taron Johnson are a few of them.

Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver, wide receiver Khalil Shakir, safety Taylor Rapp, cornerback Taron Johnson and defensive tackle Austin Johnson missed the last game against the Houston Texans in Week 5 due to injuries. Rapp appears to be on track to play on Monday following his clearance from the concussion protocol. He recorded three complete practice sessions throughout the week.

However, Oliver (hamstring) will remain out in Week 6, as he was DNP in practice all week. Additionally, Shakir (ankle), Austin Johnson (oblique) and Taron Johnson (forearm) have all been ruled as questionable to play, as none of them logged any full participation in practice.

RB James Cook is also questionable to play against the Jets because of a toe injury, which made him unavailable for the first two days of practice on Thursday and Friday. Although he made a limited comeback to practice on Saturday, it was insufficient to determine if he would be fully fit for Monday night's games.

CB Michael Carter II won't be available for the Jets at MetLife Stadium. He hurt his hamstring against the Vikings last week, but according to interim coach Jeff Ulbrich, the issue has since changed to a back injury.

The two other Jets players carrying injury designations into the game are tight end Tyler Conklin (hip) and linebacker C.J. Mosley (toe), who are ruled as questionable to play.

James Cook injury update

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook missed the first two days of practice on Thursday and Friday due to a toe issue. He made a limited comeback to the practice field on Saturday, and the Bills have categorized him as questionable for Monday's game.

Cook has been an essential component of the Bills' offense with 309 yards and four touchdowns on 70 carries this season.

Aaron Rodgers injury update

Veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers is no longer carrying an injury designation on the New York Jets' injury report and will be a full go against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.

Due to a sprained ankle, Rodgers was limited on Thursday and Friday but participated fully in practice on Saturday. Additionally, Jeff Ulbrich said during the week that the 40-year-old signal-caller was having hamstring problems.

Khalil Shakir injury update

Wideout Khalil Shakir hurt his right ankle playing against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4. However, he continued playing after trainers wrapped the ankle. Following the game, Shakir was seen with a walking boot on and didn't play the Week clash with the Houston Texans.

Shakir's injury was believed to be getting better last Monday, according to Bills coach Sean McDermott, but the wide receiver only participated in one session all week and was limited.

Khalil Shakir is tagged as questionable to play in Week 6 and is expected to be a game-time decision.
