Joe Burrow is an American football quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals. He was born on December 10, 1996. His birthplace is Ames, Iowa, United States of America. He is the son of Robin and Jim Burrow. Burrow and his family moved to North Dakota when his father received a job for a coaching position with North Dakota State University. Post this period, the family again relocated to Ohio when Burrow’s father accepted a coaching job at Ohio University. The current Bengal's QB1 attended high school at Athens High School in Ohio where he started to play football and earned a name for himself as a young quarterback.
Coming from Ames, Burrow has come a long way to the NFL. The former number one overall pick is star among today's quarterbacks and one to watch out for in the upcoming NFL season. The Iowa native first went to college at Ohio State University and then transferred to Louisiana State University (LSU). He began his college football career at Ohio State University after having a very successful high school football career. He later transferred to Louisiana State University due to a lack of playing time with the Buckeyes.

At Ohio State, Joe Burrow redshirted his first season, prolonging his eligibility. He was the backup quarterback to JT Barret in his sophomore and junior year, playing 10 games with two touchdowns. In 2018, there was a spring game at Ohio State University to determine the starting quarterback between Burrow and Dwayne Haskins. Post the game, Burrow decided it was time for him to leave Ohio State as Haskins was going to be named starting quarterback. At Ohio State University, Burrow completed a three year degree in consumer and family financial services.

Burrow played for two seasons with LSU. He was named as the starting quarterback immediately after transferring from Ohio State. In his first season, he was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week twice.
The following year, Burrow led LSU to an undefeated season culminating with winning the SEC Championship Game and breaking the record for SEC single-season touchdowns. Furthermore, Burrow also ended up winning the Heisman Trophy over current Eagles starter Jalen Hurts.
