Joe Burrow is one of the best players in the NFL. Playing for the Cincinnati Bengals, the young quarterback out of Iowa has already cemented his place among the league’s best. In a relatively short career, Burrow has quickly surpassed all expectations and is without a doubt one of the best quarterbacks in the game today.

But, for Burrow, the story to stardom began way sooner. Following a short stint at Ohio State with the Buckeyes, Burrow shifted colleges to Shaquille O’Neal’s alma mater, LSU Tigers. For them, Joe won the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship as a senior. Further, his spectacular play also earned him the Heisman Trophy. As a result, the Bengals selected the young prodigy with the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

In just his second year, Burrow led the team to its first playoff win in 30 years, culminating in a Super Bowl LVI appearance. In just three seasons, one of which was cut short due to injuries, Burrow has led the Bengals to the same amount of wins as in the team’s pre-Burrow history.

Joe Burrow Height

Joe Burrow was born on December 10, 1996, in Ames, Iowa, to Robin and Jim Burrow. His father, a player, and coach for over 40 years, provided ample training to the youngster. Joe Burrow has a recorded height of 6 feet and four inches or 1.93 meters. This height is slightly more than the average height of quarterbacks in the NFL. As a result, it has allowed Joe Burrow to become one of the cleanest passers of the football, due to the relative ease he has when looking over defenders. In fact, at this point, he holds the NFL record for higher career completion percentage.

While his height may provide a slight advantage for Burrow, his game has been defined by his father and his spirit. Coming from a family of athletes, Burrow was born to play the game. However, with his father’s excellent coaching, his ceiling knew no limits. Over time, Burrow has shown tenacity and a hunger to return better than ever, even with injuries, resulting in him winning the 2021 NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award.

As he enters next season with the second-highest odds to win league MVP, it remains to be seen to what heights Burrow take his Cincinnati team.
