Former Indianapolis Colts offensive lineman Joe Staysniak is currently in hot water. The 56-year-old has been charged and arrested on two counts of battery and one of strangulation, per Yahoo Sports.
The accusations aimed at Staysniak aren't good, especially when the allegations have come from his son and his boyfriend.
The former offensive lineman has now been thrust back into the public eye, and not in the way he had hoped.

But let's turn our attention to his on-field background and NFL career with the Colts, Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Arizona Cardinals.
Joe Staysniak's career NFL earnings
Playing six years in the NFL, we can safely assume that Staysniak got his fair share of money. While the league wasn't as big and financially funded in the 90s as it is now, he still would have earned a decent paycheck by the usual standards of his times.
Per celebsagewiki.com, the former offensive lineman has a net worth of between $1 million and $5 million.
Playing six years in the NFL appears to have been very fruitful for the 56-year-old. In total, he played 66 games and started in 33 of them. He made it to the playoffs in his rookie season with the Bills and played in both games but didn't start.
He returned four years later with the Colts in 1995 and played all three games, but didn't start as he registered a fumble recovery. In his six seasons, Joe Staysniak only managed to play full seasons in two of them, both with the Colts.
So while he had a decent NFL career and seems to have made a decent living off it, his latest incident will surely take the shine off it. Although the allegations are not proven at this point, it's safe to say Joe Staysniak isn't having the best time.
