Jonnu Smith, George Kittle and Travis Kelce have been reliable tight ends for their teams, but given their good performances this season, it’s hard to pick just one to start in fantasy football. All three are seasoned veterans who can impact games when their teams need them, especially this season when the Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, and Kansas City Chiefs have been hit with injuries to their receivers.
Week 14 is upon us, meaning that in many leagues, the regular season will end, and the teams who make it to the postseason will be decided. If you're a fantasy manager trying to make that final push for the playoffs and want to know which tight end to pick between these three, check out our analysis.
Is Jonnu Smith a good pick for fantasy football Week 14?
Considering that Tyreek Hill isn't playing up to his standards, having Jonnu Smith as an option on your roster isn’t a bad idea. The New York Jets have allowed 5 fantasy points to tight ends this season, but it's worth noting they allowed 10 points to Seahawks tight ends in Week 13, with Noah Fant catching three passes for 26 yards.

Smith is considered the TE7 in the league ahead of this matchup. He’s been targeted 30 times and caught 25 passes in the last three weeks, racking up 301 yards in the process.
Is George Kittle a good pick for fantasy football Week 14?
Even though George Kittle had an off night against the Buffalo Bills (along with the rest of the 49ers), he could be in for a good bounce-back game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Despite his one-reception game, he remains a solid option for Week 14.
Bears had a nightmare matchup against Sam Laporta on Thanksgiving, allowing two passing touchdowns to the second-year tight end, even though he only caught three passes for six yards.
Is Travis Kelce a good pick for fantasy football Week 14?
Travis Kelce helped the Kansas City Chiefs secure a dramatic 19-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 13 with seven receptions for 68 yards. However, he saw most of those targets in the first half of the game.
The Chargers, however, did a terrific job stopping Kyle Pitts in Week 13. While it's hard to count the Kelce-Mahomes connection out, the Chargers could pose a strong challenge for both the tight end and quarterback.
Jonnu Smith, George Kittle or Travis Kelce: Who should I pick?
Our "Who Should I Start?" tool recommends Travis Kelce as the best pick among these three despite his quiet second half against the Raiders in Week 13.
Kelce’s projected 14.3 fantasy points beat Kittle’s 13 and Smith’s 12.3. Kelce is projected to catch 5.7 receptions for 61.5 receiving yards and 0.4 touchdowns. The Chiefs are facing a Chargers team hungry to beat them and get closer in the AFC West race, but Travis Kelce and Co. are keen to keep collecting wins.
