Jordan Love Jersey Number

Jordan Love wears the jersey with no. 10 with the Green Bay Packers, as of October 2024. Love was presented with the number by Darrius Shepherd who previously had the number 10 for Packers. He wore the same number at Liberty High and also continued to wear the number 10 in his Utah State University days.

Love wears the number as a tribute to his father as he mentioned he wore the same number, according to PackersNews. In an interview, Love explained the reason he got the no. 10 saying “My dad wore number 10 when he was in high school. That was like a tribute to him. When I was younger, I started wearing 10. I think, like, sixth grade, seventh grade I started wearing 10, and it kind of just stuck with me. Definitely a tribute to my dad, he wore number 10.”

Love followed the footsteps of players like Matt Flynn, Al Del Greco and Blair Kiel who had the number 10 for years with the Packers. After being a backup for the first three seasons in the NFL, Love got his regular starts in 2023. The Packers won their first game in the playoffs since his draft with him starting in 2023. Love has continued to start for the Packers in 2024, as he has 63.3% passing accuracy in the first five games.
