Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills show why they are AFC favorites after solid win over Aaron Rodgers' Packers

The 6-1 Buffalo Bills stay atop the AFC as the team picks up their fourth win in a row.

Lamar Jackson? Patrick Mahomes? It doesn't matter; the Bills keep finding ways to win. Against reigning back-to-back MVP Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen and company found a way to get it done once more.

For Allen, it wasn't his best performance this season, but it was still enough to win. The 26-year-old was a single completion over 50% passing, going 13-for-25 with two interceptions that both came in the fourth quarter to keep Green Bay in the ball game.

Luckily, Buffalo's signal caller had already logged two touchdowns, setting his team up with a 27-10 lead heading into the final quarter. This lead proved too much for the Packers to overcome, even with future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers under center.

All-Pro wideout Stefon Diggs finished with triple digits in the receiving yards column for the fifth time in seven weeks. The Allen to Diggs combo continues to be as good as any across the NFL, with Diggs now having the second-most receiving yards in the league.

With 2022 NFL MVP favorite Josh Allen at the helm, first-team All-Pro wideout Stefon Diggs dominating opposing secondaries and a defense that ranks bottom-three in both passing and rushing yards given up, it begs the question: are the Buffalo Bills ever going to lose another football game?

With matchups against Lamar, Mahomes and Rodgers now in the rearview mirror, it's hard to imagine the Bills' schedule won't get any easier from here on out.

Shockingly, things will be just as difficult for Buffalo in the upcoming weeks.

Five division contests remain, with two being against the 5-3 New York Jets, and another against the same Miami Dolphins who handed Buffalo their first and only loss of the season.

Beyond the AFC East showdowns, Josh Allen and company will be at home to face the 6-1 Minnesota Vikings in two weeks. Later in the year, the team will travel to Cincinnati to square off against the reigning AFC champs on the Bengals' turf.

Some quality opponents await, but are any truly capable of coming out on top against this Buffalo team that scores the second-most points while allowing the least points per contest?
