Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills suffered their first loss of the NFL season in Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens. They lost 35-10 as the Bills' defense failed to stop the Ravens' run game led by Derrick Henry.

Allen, who entered the game as the favorite to win the MVP award, failed to make an impact against the Ravens. He also took a big hit during the game, leaving his status for the upcoming week in doubt.

As per Bills head coach Sean McDermott, Josh Allen is 'sore' from the hit he took against the Ravens but will be ready to play in Week 5. This is good news for fantasy football managers who have the Bills quarterback on their team. In PPR scoring leagues, Allen has recorded a total of 79.2 points this season, averaging 19.8 points per game.

In the game against the Ravens, the 28-year-old quarterback threw for 180 yards and rushed for 21 yards on five carries. The Bills' next game is against the Houston Texans, who also have a very good defense. The Texans will be at home and the Bills need the best version of Allen to have any chance of winning that game.

In four games this season, Josh Allen has thrown for 814 yards and seven touchdowns with a completion percentage of 69.3. He has also rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.

Most importantly, Allen has not thrown a single interception this season. This makes his MVP case stronger, as Patrick Mahomes has not had a good start to the season. If Allen continues to play like this and the Bills win 12-13 games, he can win the first MVP award of his career.

However, the Bills' next two games are against two very good teams, i.e., the Texans and the New York Jets. If they lose both of these games, questions will be asked about the team's credibility as their 3-0 start to the season came after wins against the Cardinals, Dolphins, and Jaguars, all of whom are unlikely to make the playoffs this year.
