Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen finds himself on the injury report with right elbow and shoulder issues. Yet his full participation in both Wednesday and Thursday practices signals availability for Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

Allen addressed multiple injury concerns during Thursday's media availability in Orchard Park. The MVP frontrunner spoke about recent soreness from the Patriots game on Sunday:

"Good. Just a little sore from this last game. Probably took too many opportunities for them to lay their hands and pads on me. I just gotta be smarter."

The quarterback also confirmed NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport's report about playing through a broken left hand since Week 1:

"Yeah. Yeah, it's the left one, so it doesn't really matter all that much."

Despite wearing a protective glove on his non-throwing hand through Week 12's bye, Allen hasn't missed a single snap this season. As such, fantasy managers need not worry about Allen's availability during the business end of playoffs.

Fantasy managers have promising projections for Week 17. Josh Allen's forecast sits at 24.8 points, combining 260.2 passing yards and 2.1 touchdowns with 38.1 rushing yards and a potential ground score.

His Week 6 performance against the same Jets offers a blueprint. Josh Allen completed 19 of 25 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns. He added a rushing touchdown to round out a solid fantasy outing.

Recent defensive trends favor Allen's success. The Jets' once-fearsome pass rush has lost steam, with pressure rates plummeting from 39.9% (Weeks 1-13) to 24.8% (Weeks 14-16).

The Bills have extra motivation heading into Sunday. A win secures the AFC's No. 2 playoff seed, though Wednesday's 31-2 win for the Baltimore Ravens over the Houston Texans could influence how Buffalo handles its starters.

For fantasy managers in championship matchups, Allen's recent form provides confidence. Before a quieter Week 16 against New England, he ranked among the top two quarterbacks for three consecutive weeks.

The MVP race adds another layer of intrigue. While Allen leads the pack, Baltimore's Lamar Jackson and Philadelphia's Saquon Barkley have closed the gap recently. This could fuel an explosive performance as Allen aims to cement his candidacy.
