Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has been listed as a limited participant twice in this week's practice sessions due to a calf injury.
Some Packers fans and fantasy managers might be worried about Jacobs' availability for Thursday's game against the Detroit Lions since he hasn't participated fully in practice. However, he doesn't seem to be in danger of missing that game.
Following his second limited practice participation of the week, the star RB said to reporters on Tuesday that he feels "great."
Jacobs has carried a heavy workload in the Packers' backfield in the last two games against the San Francisco 49ers and the Miami Dolphins, recording 49 combined touches. The team's decision to cut back on his practice reps before another important game could be to give him additional rest.

The 2022 Pro Bowler recorded 26 carries in Week 12 against the Niners, four days before he had 19 versus the Dolphins.
According to reports, Jacobs has also been instructed by the team's coaches to minimize his practice involvement to stay healthy for the crucial stretch of games.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur talked about Jacobs' practice volume on Tuesday.
"We are mindful of just how many reps he's getting throughout the course of the week,” LaFleur said to reporters.
Josh Jacobs has 987 rushing yards this season, good for third in the NFL. He will look to help the Packers keep their hopes of winning the NFC North alive at Ford Field in Week 14.
How has Josh Jacobs performed in Green Bay's offense this season?
Josh Jacobs has put together a string of strong performances this season, following a disappointing campaign with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jacobs has already accumulated over 1,000 yards from scrimmage with five games remaining, making him the first Packers player to accomplish this feat since Aaron Jones in 2021. Additionally, he is expected to reach 1,000 rushing yards on Thursday.
Jacobs is averaging 24 touches per game and has scored five touchdowns in Green Bay's last three games.
