Many would have anticipated that the Green Bay Packers would have a healthy squad heading into their Week 11 matchup with the Chicago Bears on Sunday since they had a bye in Week 10. However, that is not the case as the Packers' first injury report, which was released on Wednesday, had nine players on it, including running back Josh Jacobs.
Jacobs was only able to register a limited practice participation as he was listed as having a quad issue on the injury report on Wednesday.
The Packers listed Josh Jacobs as questionable to play in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions due to an ankle injury before their Week 10 bye. The running back was able to overcome that injury worry, though, and eventually took the field against Detroit on Nov. 3.
Given his new quad issue, it may be crucial to monitor Jacobs' practice participation levels on Thursday and Friday in order to determine whether he can log any full involvement before Sunday's game against the Bears.

It's still too early to tell if Jacobs will be ready to play against Chicago, but if the former Las Vegas Raiders running back is unable to participate on Sunday, Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks are likely to share the RB load.
The Packers also designated rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd to come off injured reserve this week.
Josh Jacobs injury update: What happened to the Packers' RB?
The exact location and manner of Josh Jacobs' latest quad injury are still unknown, but it is not thought to be a major one that could cause him to miss time.
However, there is still no need to be concerned about Josh Jacobs' availability for this week's game against the Chicago Bears. The team probably decided to lessen his practice load on Wednesday because they just wanted to be cautious with him at this early stage of the week.
Jacobs also has a lengthy history of being extremely resilient, having persevered through numerous injuries over his career. He is a veteran managing heavy rushing responsibilities as the team's lead running back, so he might continue to log limited practices for the remainder of the week and still play on Sunday.
