Fans and fantasy managers may be concerned about the Los Angeles Chargers' most recent injury report. Wide receiver Josh Palmer was reported to have missed his second straight practice on Thursday following an elbow injury he sustained in Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers.

LB Joey Bosa and QB Justin Hebert, who have both been limited in practice due to injuries sustained last weekend, are two of the team's big names battling injuries.

In Week 3, the unbeaten Chargers will travel to play the Pittsburgh Steelers, another unbeaten team. Palmer's elbow injury might prevent him from playing in that game, which would be a big blow for the Chargers.

With DJ Chark Jr. (hip) out of the lineup, the Chargers are already deficient at wide receiver. The team's passing attack will be mostly dependent on rookie Ladd McConkey and second-year receiver Quentin Johnston in the absence of Palmer.

Although there have been signs of promise from both wideouts, the game against Pittsburgh comes against one of the league's top defenses.

Chargers WR Josh Palmer missed multiple practice this season

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday because of an ankle/calf ailment.

Due to a knee issue, the fourth-year receiver was also included on the injury report prior to last week's game against the Carolina Panthers.

He did not participate on Friday before the game and only participated in limited capacities on Wednesday and Thursday. However, he still played in the 26-3 victory and had two receptions for 19 yards.

It now appears Palmer sustained another injury to his elbow in that Week 2 game, and that has kept him out of practice altogether this week. The receiver is reportedly struggling with two injuries, so his availability for Sunday's game is i doubt.

All eyes will be on the Chargers' injury report on Friday to find out whether the former University of Tennessee wide receiver will log any practice session since the team has not yet ruled him out for the trip to Pittsburgh in Week 3.

Palmer is the Chargers' top wideout on the depth chart, but rookie Ladd McConkey will probably be the main target in the team's passing attack if he is sidelined for Sunday's game.
