JuJu Smith-Schuster is a professional American footballer who plays in the National Football League as a wide receiver for the New England Patriots. His professional career in the NFL began in the year 2017 where he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL draft of 2017.

After being selected by the Steelers Smith-Schuster signed a deal with them for years of worth $1.84 million. In 2017 he made his professional NFL debut in a match against the Cleveland Browns. He recorded his first reception and caught the first touchdown of his NFL career in a match against the Minnesota Vikings. Smith-Schuster continued his excellent performance throughout the season and he was named as the Polynesian Pro Football Player of the Year for 2017. In the 2018 season, Smith-Schuster was selected for his first Pro Bowl. He was also ranked by his team members at 47th in the list of Top Players on NFL 2019.

In 2021 Smith-Schuster signed a new contract extension deal for one year with the Pittsburgh Steelers worth $8 million. Smith-Schuster's 2021 season with the Steelers was not the best of his career it had many ups and downs. In 2022 he signed a new deal with the Kansas City Chiefs for one year worth $10.75 million. In the 2022 season in a match against the Buffalo Bills, he recorded his first touchdown with the Chiefs. In the Super Bowl LVII victory of the Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles Smith-Schuster caught seven passes for 53 yards. In 2023 Smith-Schuster signed a new deal with the New England Patriots for three years worth $33 million.
