Justice Hill has served as Derrick Henry's backup in the 2024 NFL regular season. The veteran running back has settled into his role as a replacement-level player behind a future Hall of Famer as the Ravens look to make a deep postseason run.
Let's examine Hill's availability ahead of the Ravens' Week 16 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Justice Hill's injury update
According to Pro Football Network, Justice Hill missed Wednesday's training session for personal reasons. The return date has not been set for the Oklahoma State product.

Due to Hill's unique designation, it'll be difficult to predict when he'll return to the Gridiron. Typically, players miss a few training sessions and are available for the game. However, sometimes, such players are out for weeks, months or the whole season. Hence, it'll be important for Hill's fantasy managers to watch the Ravens' injury report closely ahead of their Saturday game.
While Hill is leaning towards questionable for Week 16, he's not the only Baltimore Ravens player on the injury report. That's because Nelson Agholor, Jalyn Armour-Davis and Diontae Johnson did not participate in Wednesday's session due to various injuries and personal reasons. Hence, it'll be interesting to see whether the players mentioned above partake in today's session or risk missing a rather important game in the playoff race.
How has Justice Hill performed this season?
Justice Hill has done an okay job playing behind the force of nature, Derrick Henry. Typically, backup running backs on a team with Henry are made to labor for carries aside from when the future Hall of Famer is out injured.
Hill has compiled a stat line for the season of 45 carries, 198 rushing yards and one rushing TD. He's also added 383 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns in 14 games. A casual fan can be forgiven for thinking that Hill is a wide receiver, considering how instrumental he's been in the team's passing offense.
The Ravens enter Week 16 with a 9-5 record, and they're on track to make the postseason. Lamar Jackson and Co. are a nightmare to face off against, especially when they click on offense.
The Ravens can finish with 10 wins for the regular season if they win one of their last three games. Their remaining games are against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns.
