Justin Fields, born on March 5, 1999, in Kennesaw, Georgia is an American professional football player. He plays the position of a quarterback for the NFL team named Chicago Bears. Fields is considered to be a top budding quarterback in the league known for his ability to pass the ball.

Fields was a first round pick in the 2021 NFL draft. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears as the 11th pick in the 2021 NFL draft. Fields started off as a backup quarterback to Andy Dalton. With Dalton suffering injuries, Fields was named as the Bear’s starting quarterback. His performance as a starter in his rookie season was subpar, recording 420 rushing yards which was most amongst the rookies, but also recording 12 fumbles and 5 lost fumbles. His fumbles were amongst the most by quarterbacks in the league.

Fields’ second season was individually successful and saw him being recognized as a quarterback with potential. While the Bears had an end-season record of 3 wins to 14 losses, Fields threw for around 2200 yards, recorded 17 touchdowns and rushed for over 1000 yards with 8 touchdowns. He is the 3rd quarterback to have rushed over 1000 yards in a single season.

It will be interesting to see what Fields can do with his team in the upcoming NFL season. While he has shown that he is a strong quarterback with a lot of potential he has not been successful in bringing about team success. With the minor roster upgrades that the Bears have brought about in the offseason, Fields should be able to lead his team to a better record than the previous season.

What is Justin Fields’s Age?

As of July 2023, Justin Fields is 24 years old. Justin Fields was born on March 5, 1999, in Kennesaw, Georgia, United States of America. In 2024, Fields will turn 25 years old. Fields is still amongst the youngest players and has many years left for his career to start to decline if he maintains his health. As of now, Fields would be likely to focus on maintaining his health and improving his skills in order to become a more recognizable force in the league.
