Justin Patrick Herbert is an American football quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL. The Chargers selected Herbert as the sixth overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Herbert was named the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2020, made the Pro Bowl in 2021, and was part of the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2020. As of Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season, Herbert has amassed 19,409 passing yards, 127 touchdowns and 43 interceptions.

As a collegiate athlete, Herbert played at the University of Oregon from 2016 to 2019. According to Sports Reference, he concluded his collegiate career with 10,541 yards, 95 touchdowns and 23 interceptions. According to Oregon University’s official website, Herbert became the second player in Pac-12 history to win the William V. Campbell Trophy. Growing up, he attended Sheldon High School in his hometown Eugene, Oregon.
