Justin Tucker playing for the Texas Longhorns

Justin Tucker is an American football placekicker for the Baltimore Ravens and has successfully maintained a position on the team's active roster for over a decade, exclusively serving as a placekicker since the beginning. Throughout his tenure with the Ravens, he delivered outstanding performances and boasts a decorated NFL career with a Super Bowl title, seven Pro Bowl appearances, securing a spot on the first-team All-Pro five times, and earning second-team All-Pro honors three times, among other accolades.

Being a Texas native, he enrolled at Westlake High School, where he began his football journey. After graduation, he chose to play college football for the Texas Longhorns. Following the conclusion of his collegiate career, he entered the 2012 NFL draft. During the draft, Tucker remained undrafted before ultimately being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Ravens. However, his outstanding preseason performance earned him a starting position. Tucker earned his first Super Bowl ring in his debut season against the 49ers in a 34-31 victory. Tucker holds the NFL record for the highest field percentage in the sport's history at 89.1% and also holds the record for the longest field goal at 66 yards.

Where did Justin Tucker attend college?

Tucker enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin, located in Austin, Texas, and majored in recording technology. During his tenure at the University of Texas, he played college football for the Texas Longhorns from 2008 to 2011.

He concluded his collegiate career with a field-goal conversion rate of 83.3%, ranking as the third-highest in the program's history. He punted 155 times for 6,283 yards and recorded 24 career special-teams tackles. Despite performing well throughout his college years, he failed to attract attention, and as a result, he did not receive invitations to participate in the East-West Shrine Game, or Senior Bowl and went undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft.
