New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson landed an injury report after Thursday's practice session and is currently questionable for the Week 8 game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, October 30.
Johnson is suffering from a hamstring injury; hopefully, it isn't a serious one. Johnson had limited participation in Thursday and Friday's team practice. His name was not mentioned on the injury list on Wednesday, so he most likely got injured on the practice field.
As the Saints face the Raiders on Sunday, they would want their entire lineup to be present as they have already lost five games this season. It has been a rough start for the Saints, and things will probably change for them after their two consecutive losses in the last two weeks.

Currently, the Saints are not in an ideal position as tight ends Juwan Johnson (hamstring) and Adam Trautman (ankle) are both questionable for the week. Moreover, two of their starting wide receivers, Michael Thomas (foot) and Jarvis Landry (ankle), have been ruled out of the upcoming game.
Johnson has started three of the seven games this season, recorded 19 receptions on 30 targets for 202 yards, and scored two touchdowns.
Last week, the Saints suffered a 42-34 loss against the Arizona Cardinals. In that game, Johnson had five receptions on five targets for 32 yards and touched the endzone twice.
If Johnson is on your fantasy roster, we recommend starting with him. His injury is not major; he has also participated in weekly team practices. His limited presence on the practice field was a precautionary measure before Sunday's game.
Also, if he returns, he might once again start the game as Trautman is injured. Moreover, if Johnson also misses Sunday's game, the Saints offense would have to depend on Taysom Hill and Nick Vannett.
Juwan Johnson's timeline
Juwan Johnson went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft and was later signed as an undrafted free agent by the New Orleans Saints. He is playing his third season with the Saints, and so far, he has 36 receptions on 62 targets for 400 yards and six touchdowns.
He started in four of the seven games he played in his rookie season, recording four receptions on 10 targets for 39 yards. He ended his last season with 13 receptions for 159 yards and four touchdowns.
