Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Kameron Johnson was limited in practice on Friday and was listed as questionable for the Week 4 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, the rookie receiver overcame the issue in Week 4, playing 23 offensive snaps in addition to five special teams snaps.

Johnson is once again listed as a limited participant on the Bucs' practice estimation lists for Monday and Tuesday due to an ankle issue. However, it should be mentioned that the crew used those days mainly for walkthroughs.

Fantasy managers should still expect Johnson to play in Week 5 except his practice participation drops to a DNP on Wednesday, given that he was able to play in Week 4 despite recording a limited participation last Friday.

The Buccaneers have a short week before their next game. Their Week 5 game is scheduled for Thursday night against the Falcons at Atlanta.

Kameron Johnson injury update: What happened to the Buccaneers' WR?

Kameron Johnson missed out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3, a game against the Denver Broncos, due to an ankle injury he suffered in practice days before the game.

The wide receiver played in the Bucs' Week 4 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday after recording consecutive limited performances on Thursday and Friday.

Johnson didn't look like he suffered another injury in the game against the Eagles, but he was listed as limited on Tampa Bay's injury reports on Monday and Tuesday.

More information about Johnson's status for Thursday night's NFC South matchup against the Atlanta Falcons will be available after the release of the final injury report on Wednesday.

Johnson is likely to play on Thursday, but if he does not, Trey Palmer will probably take over. They may also decide to activate practice squad wide receiver Sterling Shepard.

Kameron Johnson played college football for the Barton Bulldogs, a Division II school. He caught 51 passes for 875 yards and seven touchdowns for them in 2023.

Johnson signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2024 after failing to be selected in the NFL draft. This season, the 22-year-old wide receiver has been involved in 34 offensive snaps for the Bucs and another 19 on special teams. He has had one carry and one target in three regular season games.
