Rashee Rice's injury update

According to Yahoo Sports, Rashee Rice will have surgery on Monday to determine the seriousness of the right knee injury he suffered last week against the Los Angeles Chargers. Rice had zero targets at the time of sustaining the injury.

According to the report, Rice will see a specialist "with plans to undergo an arthroscopic procedure to help determine the damage in his knee." At that point, the wideout and the Kansas City Chiefs presumably will know whether he can play again in 2024.

Mecole Hardman injury update

According to CBS Sports, Mecole Hardman participated fully in Saturday's training session but is listed as questionable for Monday's matchup against the New Orleans Saints. He is dealing with a knee issue.

Hardman was listed as a DNP on Friday's injury report because of a knee injury, but his availability in full capacity on Saturday indicates that there's a possibility of him playing tonight. The versatile wideout hasn't recorded a target through the first four fixtures of the season and has been limited to punt and kick return duties.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire's injury update

According to CBS Sports, Clyde Edwards-Helaire is listed as doubtful for tonight's game against the New Orleans Saints. The veteran running back remains on the reserve/non-football illness list.

The Chiefs are considering giving Edwards-Helaire an additional week of practice before adding him to the active playing roster.

Kareem Hunt's injury update

According to Fantasy Pros, Kareem Hunt has no injury designation for the Week 5 matchup with the Saints. The former Pro Bowler is poised to play a part in tonight's game.

Hunt was listed as a limited participant in training early in the week due to a shoulder injury, but he has recovered sufficiently enough to feature tonight.
