The Kansas City Chiefs have made it to the playoffs following their 30-24 overtime win against the Houston Texans in Week 15. With their 11th victory of the season, the Chiefs also sealed their AFC West division with three games to go.
Kansas City went into their matchup on Sunday with a 10-3 record, well clear of the Los Angeles Chargers, who are in second place at 7-6. As they were leading their AFC West division, the Chiefs faced the Texans with a win-and-in mantra.
They could have reached the playoffs even if they tied their game against Houston. Although Andy Reid's side needed overtime to get the win, the Chiefs showed that they can deliver the goods even after the end of regulation time.
