Coming off crucial roster decisions, the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears commenced the final week of their respective preseason games at Arrowhead, with the latter eventually emerging triumphant by a score of 34-21.
After losing their first two games vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions even with the superstar duo of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce playing, the defending Super Bowl champions Chiefs made a tactical change, starting Chris Oladokun in their MVP's stead.
Meanwhile, first overall pick Caleb Williams sat out for the Bears, who instead leaned on sophomore Tyson Bgent and veteran Brett Rypien.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Chicago Bears preseason week 3 stats
Despite not seeing the end zone the entire game, Brett Rypien played the Bears’ game manager perfectly, leading all passers with 106 yards from nine completions. He probably did not have to score, though, as the rest of the team did the job for him.
Velus Jones Jr. (13 carries for 111 yards and touchdown) and Tyler Scott (six receptions for 99 yards) utterly destroyed the Chiefs’ defense, while the offensive line was stellar, holding their foes in the trench without a sack.
Defensively, Dashaun Mallory had a sack to go with Reddy Steward’s two interceptions.
Without Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, the Chiefs had a very lackluster offensive showing, with no player managing more than two catches. On the ground, four players had at least four carries, including Welsh former rugby winger Louis Rees-Zammit (21 yards).
