The Kansas City Chiefs played the Detroit Lions in the second week of the preseason. This was the reigning Super Bowl champions' second preseason game, and similar to last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars, they lost again.
The Lions erased a deficit and came back to win the game 24-23 with the help of a game-winning 43-yard field goal by Jake Bates. The Chiefs have lost both of their preseason games so far, but there is nothing to be worried about.
