Kareem Hunt is a seven-year veteran in the National Football League (NFL) playing as a running back for the Cleveland Browns at present. He was born in Lorain, Ohio on August 6, 1995. He excelled at the game of gridiron football from his early days as can be demonstrated by his exceptional stats from his high school football career. He lit up the opposition especially in his junior and senior years of high school by rushing for over 2,500 yards in both years and had 39 and 44 rushing touchdowns respectively.
Hunt then decided to join the University of Toledo in 2013 where he would remain for the next four years to complete his college education. Playing on the Toledo Rockets football team, the 2017 Pro Bowler had great production nearly rushing for 1,000 yards every season. Overall in Toledo, Hunt rushed for 4,945 yards and had 44 rushing touchdowns in his four-year stay.
The one thing Hunt prided himself on was his ability to hold on to the ball while running. He was so good with his ball-handling skills that in college from 782 total carries he had fumbled the ball only once. Yet, despite that excellent skill, he was welcomed into the NFL by a tackle that forced the ball out of his grasp in his very first professional carry. The good news is that Hunt has managed to put that moment in the past and now in seven seasons he still has a ridiculously low 5 fumbles to his name from over 1,000 carries.
