
Karene Reid is a former collegiate linebacker who represented Utah from 2021 to 2024. Reid is one of the draft prospects in the 2025 NFL draft. The American Fork, Utah native (as per NFL’s official website) received his secondary education from Timpview High School, where he where he piled up 185 tackles with 26 being for a loss, 5.5 sacks, one pass deflection, two interceptions, and a forced fumble.
Revisiting his post-high school career, Karene Reid played 43 games for the Utes in his 4-year collegiate tenure. The 6 ft linebacker started his post-high school football career by seeing gameday action in his first season itself. While Reid saw time as a starter in 6 games during his freshman campaign, he had to wait until 2022 to get the starter role full-time. Following that, he remained an integral piece in the Utes’ defense until the end of the 2024 season.
