Kedon Slovis is an American football quarterback who is looking to get drafted into the NFL in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft. The 6’ 3” signal-caller has a good frame and weighs around 215 lbs. Slovis was born in Scottsdale, Arizona on April 11, 2001.
Slovis started very well and had a pretty decent freshman year in college, however, since then he has found it difficult to maintain and improve his play. Over five years in college, he has played for three different Universities in an attempt to improve his game, but unfortunately, his efforts have gone in vain.
At present, in a deep quarterback class in the 2024 NFL Draft, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Slovis goes undrafted. The one upside, however, is that he has been invited to the NFL Combine which will give him a good chance at impressing some scouts, coaches, and managers if he performs well.

Kedon Slovis started his college football career in 2019 when he joined the University of South California (USC) to play for the USC Trojans football team. In his true freshman year, Slovis was the backup quarterback but got his chance to play in the very first game of the season as USC’s starting quarterback went down to a knee injury that ended his season early.
Slovis started 11 games in his freshman year and compiled a win-loss record of 7-4. With some memorable performances in between where he set a few school records as a true freshman signal caller, the Scottsdale native finished the year with 3,502 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. Surprisingly though, his freshman year would prove to be the best year of his college career.
2020 was supposed to be a great year for Slovis and he started in fine form continuing where he left off the previous year. There was even talk about him being in the running as a potential Heisman Trophy candidate.
However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there were limited games that took place. Slovis still finished the year with nearly 2,000 passing yards but his TD-INT ratio of 17-7 was not so good.
2021 was a down year in all senses for the then-Trojans QB1. He led his team to a disappointing 4-7 record from 11 games. With only 11 passing touchdowns and 8 interceptions, his junior year proved to be the worst one of his college career at the time and he eventually transferred to the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt).
The next year, Slovis was named the starter for the Pittsburgh Panthers football team but he continued to struggle throughout the season and produced a near similar result to his previous year. With just 2,397 passing yards from 11 games, Slovis had 10 touchdowns and 9 interceptions even though he did lead the team to a 7-4 record.
After the end of the 2022 season, Slovis decided to return to college for his last year of eligibility. He transferred one more time to Brigham Young University (BYU) for the 2023 season where he was named the starter for the BYU Cougars compiling a record of 5-3 from 8 games, his overall play and stats improved only marginally.
