Kenneth Walker is a major part of the Seattle Seahawks offense, and the rookie running back has been impressive this season. Remember when everyone thought the Seahawks were done following the Russell Wilson trade? Well, Walker is one of the reasons everything is going just fine in Seattle.
Walker jarred his ankle against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13, which limited him to three rushing attempts for 36 yards. He then proceeded to miss Week 14 and entered this week listed as questionable.
The good news is that Kenneth Walker has participated in every team workout as the Seahawks prepare to face a tough San Francisco 49ers side. However, this isn't necessarily good news. It is possible that he will cede more snaps than usual to Travis Homer due to his recent injury. This is made worse by the fact that the Seahawks will play on Thursday night as opposed to Sunday, limiting Walker's time to heal. The 49ers present a tough defense for every position this season and it may be best to explore other options at running back.
Potential running back streamers for Week 15
With the season in its final weeks, there aren't many great replacements available for Walker, so you may be forced to take a chance on him. However, it is worth looking at the following running backs if you are understandably unwilling to risk him in such a pivotal week of fantasy football (players with an * scored over 15 points in PPR leagues in Week 14):

How is Kenneth Walker performing this season?
Walker has had an incredible rookie season. Since getting drafted, Walker has been one of the best rookies in the NFL. The Michigan State alum began the season as RB2 behind Rashaad Penny, who later suffered a campaign-ending ankle injury. The injury elevated Walker to RB1, and the first-year pro hasn't looked back.
Kenneth Walker has recorded 138 rushing attempts for 649 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in eleven games played this season.
