Kenny Pickett has been the talk of the town for the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of their wild-card game against the Green Bay Packers. The quarterback, who has served as Jalen Hurts' backup, could be called upon to play on Sunday since Hurts is still reportedly in the concussion protocols.

However, Pickett is also nursing a ribs injury and fans want to know his status for the playoff matchup against Green Bay.

As things stand, Kenny Pickett is questionable to face the Packers on Sunday. However, there are signs that the Eagles' QB2 could be active for the wild card game against Green Bay.

Pickett was a limited participant in practice Wednesday. The Eagles will host two more practice sessions, on Thursday and Friday, before hosting the Packers. It will be interesting to see how Pickett fares in the next two practice sessions.

The good news for the Eagles is that their QB1 Hurts looked sharp in practice on Wednesday, despite being a limited participant. However, Philly will want to have its starting quarterback and his backup for a challenging postseason ahead.

Pickett injured his ribs in the third quarter of Philly's Week 17 win over the Dallas Cowboys. He exited and was replaced by Eagles' QB3 Tanner McKee.

Since Pickett and Hurts were both nursing injuries and the Eagles had already qualified for the playoffs, Philly started McKee in its Week 18 win over the New York Giants.

How has Eagles QB Kenny Pickett performed this season?

Pickett did not get too many reps during the regular season, since he is the backup to Hurts. However, the Eagles' second-string quarterback completed 25 of 42 passes for 291 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception during the regular season. He also rushed for 15 yards and a touchdown on nine carries across five appearances.

The Eagles will want to have Pickett healthy for the postseason, if they require his services. It remains to be seen whether he will play a role against the Packers in the first round of the playoffs.
