In the 2022 NFL draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL selected Kenny Pickett in the first round with the 20th overall pick. In 2024, he was traded to the Eagles. As of the 2024 NFL regular season, he has 15 touchdowns, 14 interceptions, 4,765 passing yards, and a 79.3 passer rating (via Pro Football Reference).
Pickett was born on 6 June 1998 in Ocean Township, New Jersey. He played high school football at Ocean Township High School and continued to play college football for the University of Pittsburgh. Throughout his college football career, Kenny Pickett emerged as a top-notch performer. He won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2021 and was a First-team All-American the same year. He was also named ACC Athlete of the Year in 2022, as well as ACC Player of the Year, ACC Offensive Player of the Year, and First-team All-ACC in 2021.
